Freewriting : Are new technologies positive?

New technologies made communication easier, now people can be in touch every time doesn't matter how far they are from each other. Now we do not need put many efforts in finding information on the internet, see important news on TV and so on. New technologies improved our communication, created a completely new virtual world and brought new trends in our lives.  

But unfortunately, it has the dark side too. Internet, mass media, social networks steal a lot of our time. For example, when we meet our friends, we just keep chatting on Facebook or just texting, no matter that we have to make conversation in real life with our friends.
